About us

D-Pad Studio is a indie game studio located in Norway, best known for our flagship title Owlboy, a story-based platform adventure! It was first released on Nov. 1st 2016!

We released Savant - Ascent, our first game in 2013. It's a fast-paced shooter for PC and mobile. A follow-up has now been released titled Savant - Ascent REMIX. It is heading for Nintendo Switch™ on Dec 5th 2024!

The Team

We first started working together in 2007. The company, D-Pad Studio AS, was founded in 2011, and is registered on the tiny island of Askøy outside Bergen, Norway.

G'DAY! I'm Adrian! I help with support, testing, setting up maps and polishing up the game where I can. Other than that I work on design, writing and illustration for other potential projects. I upload my art to Yaen at DeviantArt.com and write about design on my Gamasutra blog when I can. I love to write and illustrate!
